Design Parent Onboarding & Legal Consent Flow

Design a stress-free, intuitive interface where kids can speak, type, or upload drawings to create stories privately.

🔒 My Note: This is the “Creative Freedom” layer. No ISBN, no public indexing. Let kids be kids (even if they write about monsters or dark themes privately).
Develop “Publishing Eligibility” Toggle

Create a clear switch for parents to move a book from “Private Sandbox” to “Global Marketplace”.

Build Automated Metadata Engine

Automatically generate titles, summaries, BISAC/Thema categories, keywords, and reading age from the story content.

🔒 My Note: This is our biggest competitive advantage. Traditional publishers do this manually. We automate it to save time and scale to thousands of books.
Develop ONIX XML Generation System

Create the automated pipeline to build standard ONIX files required by global distributors like Nielsen and Bokbasen.
Integrate ISBN Workflow & Distribution APIs

Connect with Nielsen (UK), Bokbasen (Norway), and global distributors (Gardners, Bookwire) for automated ingestion.

🔒 My Note: We only buy ISBN blocks for books that actually pass the “Global Publish” gate. This keeps costs low and quality high.

Develop Automated Narrative Engine

Build the backend pipeline that structures child inputs (voice/text) into proper narrative formats with character consistency.
Build Visual Rendering & Consistency System

Implement the image generation pipeline using Character Sheets and Seed locking to keep characters consistent across pages.

My Note: Character consistency is the hardest technical challenge. We must use Reference Images and Prompt Chaining to solve this.
Integrate Voiceover & Audiobook Engine

Add text-to-speech capabilities with emotional tone matching for different characters and age groups.

Implement Automated Risk Scoring Layer

Build the first-line filter for violence, inappropriate content, and plagiarism before human review.
Design “Human Publishing Review” Gate

Create the workflow for human moderators to review “Medium Risk” books before they get an ISBN and go global.

🔒 My Note: This is our “Quality Gate”. It protects our brand, keeps Nielsen/Bokbasen happy, and justifies our publishing fee.
Build Royalty & Revenue Dashboard

Create a transparent financial dashboard for parents to track sales, global distribution, and their revenue share.

Integrate Eye-Tracking Data Layer

Connect O’VISTA to analyze where the child focuses their attention while reading the generated stories.

🔒 My Note: This is what makes Fabula a “Scientific-Analytical Platform” and not just a toy. It opens doors to Special Education and ABA therapy markets.
