Episode Summary
In this inaugural episode, we introduce Voodoolily Publishing Company—a Norway-based publisher creating children’s books that nurture empathy, celebrate diversity, and help prevent radicalization through early education. Founded by CEO Zohreh (Rose) Mehravipour in collaboration with COO Pieter H. Dubbeld, Voodoolily translates insights from psychology, sociology, and the humanities into inclusive, beautifully illustrated stories.
We share our vision for two groundbreaking projects: O’Vista, a dyslexia-friendly reading platform for children with learning difficulties, and The Magical Codex of Central Deborah, a historical adventure set in Bendigo, Australia—commended by The Hon. Maree Edwards MP and designed to be accessible to all young readers.
At Voodoolily, we believe that every child deserves stories that reflect their worth—and that storytelling is one of the most powerful tools we have to build a more peaceful, integrated world.
